Wahal Process Technologies Pvt. Ltd high shear In tank homogenizers are highly suitable for those viscous materials which doesn’t mix easily. It provides emulsification, homogenization, solubilization, dispersion and suspension. In-tank Homogenizer provides the centrifugal force which ensures highly narrow and efficient droplet size distribution and evenly dissolved solids. In In-tank homogenizer having a stator – rotor work head divides the machine into two separate chambers, one with inlet and another with the outlet. The accuracy of In-tank Batch homogenizer is very highly effective, improving quality of product, maintains process efficiency and increases the mixing process up to 90% than the normal agitation process.

High shear batch mixer homogenizer provides the elimination of agglomerates in the process which gives the uniform mixing as per desired conditions. Due to hydraulic and mechanical shear action, the particle size is easily reduced and dissolved very rapidly into the solution. As per desired application, the stators are available with perforations of different size and shapes and easy to movable and adjustable in the machine. The high shear batch mixer homogenizer unit is suitable for blending, mixing, emulsifying, homogenizing, solids disintegrations and suspensions.

         How is it work?

  1. The In-tank batch mixer rotor blades provides high speed rotation which exerts a powerful suction taking liquid and solid materials in upward direction from the bottom of the vessel into the center of the work head.
  2. The centrifugal force generated by the blades which drives the material towards the periphery of the work head and imposed to a milling action between the tolerance of rotor and stator.
  3. By the hydraulic shear force, the material out through the perforations in the stator and comedown in the main body of the mix.
  4. The material blow out from the head and moves in the radially direction with very high speed force. The radially horizontal effect is exclusion and suction provides the pressure to set up regularly circulation pattern that caused disturbance of the material surface.

  • The high shear mixer is designed for sanitary applications and can be configured to meet compliance with FDA norms. Our high shear mixers can also be supplied with ATEX approved motors or IEC -60079 Flameproof/explosion-proof motors with certification for hazardous applications.
  • Inlet and Outlet: Can be designed as per the specific requirement ( Flanged, DIN connections, Tri-clamp, ASA, etc. )
  • Control panel: ATEX approved control panels can also be supplied with our high shear mixers.
  • Motors: TEFC ( Totally enclosed fan cool ), Explosion-proof / ATEX certified motors can be supplied as standard to be used with frequency inverters or starters. Washdown motors and stainless motors can also be supplied.
  • Rotor/ stator: Can be supplied extra with each high shear mixer ( Expect the 4 stage model ) and can be used interchangeably as per the application.
